They arrived at a meadow, but there was no spring in sight. The girls were quite frustrated, but Mokana looked like he has done something really good! Suddenly, Hikaru sees a line floating in the air, so the girls went to investigate. The line turned out to be the Legendary Spring of Eterna!! The spring is 2-D!! The girls decided to dive in...
Hikaru's Battle

Hikaru landed inside the spring and to her surprise, she saw her dog, Hikari. Hikari started to attack Hikaru. It was very fierce and dangerous. Hikaru was confused and refused to fight back. Suddenly, she heard Princess Emeraude's voice telling her to think about the situation before her. Would that ever come true? And lo! Hikaru understood and immediately, Hikari was defeated...
Umi's Battle

Umi was worried when she was seperated from her friends. Now she's more worried, for in front of her was her parents! And her parents were attacking her! Umi tried to defend herself, but her will to do it was not strong, therefore she did not succeed. Then Pricess Emeraude's voice came and brought advice with her. Umi understood and her will to fight was stronger. She defeated her parents' illusion with her water magic...
Fuu's Battle

Fuu was confronted with her mirror when she landed in the spring. The mirror attacked her so Fuu fought back. But to her surprise not only did the mirror got hurt, Fuu did too. While she was pondering her problem, Princess Emeraude's voice came. Fuu heard Princess Emeraude's wise advice and saw the pathway to success. She used her wind magic at her opponent and the mirror was defeated...

The girls found themselves back on the surface of the spring with Eskudo. Presea came and forged Legendary weapons with it and told them their next step. The girls were to follow Mokana to the place where the Mashins reside. Their weapons were the key to the Mashins' revival. So the girls found themselves once again traveling with the marshmallowy rabbit...
