...once again the girls find themselves traveling with the marshmallowy rabbit
The girls were sitting on a wonderful machinery that Mokana provided. The machine was like a plane, it zoomed through Cephiro. Suddenly, the machine dropped like a stone into the ocean and transformed in giant bubbles. The bubbles carried the girls to magnificent shrine...
The girls were enchanted by this underwater shrine, so they walked on. Umi walked right into a great dragon. The dragon turned out to Selece, the legendary water mashin. Just as Selece was explaining, a boy appeared. He was dressed in a strange custom and was very short. And he was anothe minion of Zagato. He was Ascot the Summoner!!
Ascot summoned monster to kill the girls. Hikaru shot out her fire arrows, but it did no harm to the beast. As Fuu and Hikaru was battling Ascot's monster, Umi was with Selece. Selece spoke to Umi and told her that she needed to prove her worth as a magic knight...
Umi ran towards her friends and proceeded to eliminate the monster. Ascot was angry, because the monster was his friend(ugh)! He summoned other monster and Umi defeated them(with a little help from her friends). Ascot summoned other monsters to grab Fuu and Hikaru because Umi killed his friends. Umi got very very angry because her friends were about to be killed. She used water magic at the monster and the other 2 girls were released. Then Umi gave Ascot a very stern lecture about friendship and what's right and wrong. Selece approved of Umi as a magic knight and everything was pretty much alright.
The girls were traveling to the next shrine of the mashins. This time the flying machine was taking them to a floating mountain high up in the air. Suddenly, Fuu was transported into the shrine. The shrine was of the wind mashin, Windam!
When the Umi and Hikaru arrived at the mountain peak, they saw the super cute and bodacious, Ral Caldina! And guess what Caldina is here to do? She is here to kill the girls!! As introductions were being made... Fuu met the wind mashin Windam! Windam looked very much like a bird with 4 wings. Fuu also have to prove her worth to Windam, so she went out of the shrine to find her friends. She her friends under the spell of Caldina so she tried to help, but Caldina was an illusionist and Fuu was suddenly under Caldina's control!! Caldina tried to use Fuu's own magic destroy Fuu's own friends. But the plan backfired because Fuu's will to protect her friends were stronger than Caldina's spell. So Fuu was approved by Windam and the girls went to the Fire Shrine...
The girls have arrived at the volcano, where the fire mashin resides!! Hikaru was drawn into the shrine and doors slammed shut behind her, locking out her friends. Inside the shrine, Hikaru saw the Fire God, Rayearth in the form of a wolf. Its mane was of red and gold fire and looked truly spectacular. Hikaru was told that she was become Rayearth's knight if she can prove that her heart is truly strong. When Hikaru came out of the shrine, a menacing man came to confront the girls. He was Dal Lafarga, the Princess's protector turned bad by Zagato. He was the greatest swordsman ever!!
Lafarga was very strong. He uses the pressure from the swing of his sword to defeat his enemies and he was set on destroying the knights! Hikaru tried to evade him, but it was no use. She had to protect both herself and her friends. Because Lafarga was a swordsman, she would not use magic either. So Hikaru was slowly losing. Suddenly, Lafarga grabbed Hikaru's sword and fell down. It seemed as if the sword had burned him!! It also released him from Zagato's spell!! The three mashins came in the form of mechas and the girls were transported into the mashins and became the pilots of the mashins. They followed Mokana to Zagato's palace in the sky.
